How to Conduct an Exam
First, you create the exam tasks. Each task includes a question, a model answer, and “checkings” (review points)—which are example sentences the AI uses to find similarities in student answers.
Next, you assemble these tasks to create an exam and publish a link to it. Students then complete the tasks and submit their answers for assessment. You receive a proposed grade from the AI, which you can either accept or modify. You can also provide students with written or verbal feedback. It’s best to keep verbal feedback short. You must review and approve each assessment before the process can continue. Finally, you can create a summary of the assessment as a CSV file on your local hard drive, which opens in Excel. From there, you can transfer the results to students and the school’s system.
You can create your own question bank and develop exams. You can also include videos and other materials in the tasks. Grading is fast, taking about an hour instead of eight hours. The license includes a guideline of 150 exams per month, which allows a teacher to grade exams for about five classes on average. When creating content, you retain ownership of the tasks.
